Dick Davey, on game: "We have been on a good streak defensively for the past few weeks. The guys have been playing very intelligently on defense and that was true again tonight. We had a bit of a slump shooting the ball tonight, but our defense kind of saved us."
Davey, on team's standing in the WCC: "We feel good right now, but you are never comfortable. We have four of our five remaining games on the road so there are no guarantees. We are playing better basketball right now and we have to keep it up."
Davey, on playing San Francisco: "They are so quick and so athletic. We might not have guys that stand up to them athletically, but we have some tough-nosed players who really dig in defensively."
Davey, on Scott Dougherty's consistency: "He had been so good for us and so consistent. Tonight he was not shooting well, but he made a big one at the end."
Danny Pariseau, on big shots at the end: "I turned it over a few times against the press and I felt like I got a little passive there for a stretch in the second half. I had to quit being scared and start playing and it worked out."
Pariseau, on team's goals: "Our goal is to win the league and we are not going to be content unless we go out and win these last five games. We have a lot of big games ahead of us starting with Portland this weekend. Our position is fine for now but we can't slow down."
