SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's basketball team held its annual end of season banquet on Monday, April 16 at Benson Hall on the campus of Santa Clara University. The event featured speeches by all six graduating seniors and the presentation of both West Coast Conference and team awards. Capturing team awards for the Broncos were senior Scott Dougherty, junior Brody Angley, senior Danny Pariseau and senior Sean Denison. Dougherty was named Most Improved Player after raising his scoring average from 1.9 for his career to 9.9 in 2006-07 and being named All-WCC First Team. Pariseau, who played his only season at SCU after transferring from Eastern Washington, was tabbed the team's Most Inspirational Player. He led the team in assists and was also named WCC Newcomer of the Year and All-WCC First Team.

To round out the team awards, Denison was selected the team's Most Outstanding Player. As a senior in 2006-07, he was named WCC Co-Player of the Year, AP All-American Honorable Mention and All-WCC First Team. He led the team in scoring and was second in rebounding.

Angley and senior Brandon Rohe were also recognized for serving as team captains this past season.
