Dick Davey, on game: "You have to give them a lot of credit tonight. They got the ball inside well and made some shots on us. They defended us effectively. We didn't play our best game tonight, but we had chances to win at the end."
Davey, on final possessions: "I thought that we played pretty good defense on that last play, but their player hit a tough shot. We had a good chance at the end but the ball just didn't drop for us."
Davey, looking ahead to Pepperdine: "We lost a tough one tonight. The team needs to come out on Monday and play better. That game is a big one so we have to be prepared right from the start."
Brody Angley, on late lead: "We got ourselves a lead, but we made a few mistakes that helped let them back in the game. We didn't get the ball in well on the press and they did a good job coming back."
Angley, on last shot: "I had some daylight when I got the ball and I just drove to the basket. I got a pretty good look, but it didn't go in for me."
Angley, on Pepperdine game: "That will be a tough game for us. They play a different style so we have to be prepared for that. We are going to come out hard and try and get a win."
