TUCSON, Ariz. - With high expectations coming off a No. 1 national ranking of its freshman class this fall, the Santa Clara University men's golf team has struggled during its first day of tournament action this spring, sitting at 14th out of 15 teams before play was suspended due to darkness Monday at the Arizona Intercollegiate hosted at the Vistoso Golf Club.

Most of the 15 teams that are competing in the tournament have between three to five holes remaining to complete the second round, which will resume with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. MST Tuesday. The final round will begin immediately after the second round is completed.
