Klein homered to centerfield in the sixth to give his senior classmate Garcia a seven-run lead. The Broncos totaled 14 hits. Klein finished the day 2-for-3. Lucas Herbst and Ryan Rieger both had four hits.
Santa Clara (22-30; 7-12 WCC) entered the weekend with chance to finish the season in the top half of the WCC. The weekend marks the final games of the year for both schools.
LMU (22-32; 4-15 WCC) has lost 10 of 12. The Lions generated a pair of doubles and a triple against Garcia but the game's outcome was never in question.
