SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball was recognized on Wednesday morning by Baseball America as having one of the best under-the-radar recruiting classes in the country heading into the 2017 season.
Teddy Cahill, a national writer for Baseball America, named the Broncos as one of 16 universities with "under-the-radar" recruiting classes. In this case, Cahill mentions, "schools that brought in strong classes relative to a normal recruiting class at their school or in their conference."

"This recruiting class has a solid amount of depth and athleticism from top to bottom," assistant coach Keith Beauregard said. "Overall, there is a good combination of power, speed and finesse. We think there are many projectable players with opportunity for growth."
The Broncos welcome an 18-member class to the roster this fall, highlighted by Grant Nechak, Andre Nnebe, Jake MacNichols, Bryson Spagnuolo, Jason DiCochea and Zach Walsh.
