SANTA CLARA, CALIF. - Friday's opening game of the Santa Clara baseball series against No. 23 San Diego has been suspended to Saturday at 2 p.m. due to inclement weather. Game two of the three-game series will start 30 to 45 minutes after game one ends.
The series opener, which began at 6 p.m., will resume in the top of the first inning with a runner on second base for the Toreros with one out and a 3-1 count to the batter.
