SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara baseball begins the 2017 season in just over a month and season tickets are now available. The first chance to see head coach Dan O'Brien and the squad in action is on Feb. 17-20 for a four-game homestand against the University of Washington, a 2016 NCAA Baseball Championship participant.
Fans can purchase tickets here with general admission season tickets starting at $245 ($7 per game). Reserved season tickets are priced at $315 ($9 per game). Single-game pricing begins at $7 but is subject to change due to variable price structure. For single game and group tickets, a reserved seat is listed at $10 while a general admission seat costs $8. For a group, reserved seats begin at $9 while $7 is the cost for general admission seating.
The Broncos will play 35 games at Stephen Schott Stadium this season. Following the four-game series against Washington, SCU hosts the annual Jack Gifford Memorial Tournament on Feb. 24-26 to honor the late supporter of Bronco baseball. The four-team event features six games in three days between Santa Clara, Creighton, Michigan and Saint Louis. The pre-conference schedule also includes four-game series' at home against Northwestern and Purdue.
SCU begins West Coast Conference play at home against San Diego on Feb. 24-26. To break up conference action, Santa Clara hosts Arizona, the runners-up at the 2016 College World Series, for a single game on May 1. SCU has two-straight home series against BYU (May 4-6) and Pacific (May 12-14) before hosting its final home game on May 17 against Stanford.
