VANCOUVER, B.C. - Santa Clara men's basketball will close out play in the inaugural Vancouver Showcase on Tuesday with its fourth-ever meeting against Minnesota (3-0). Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. Pacific in the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Playing without injured KJ Feagin for the first time this year, the Broncos (0-3) lost to Washington, 82-68, in Sunday's tournament opener. Jaylen Nowell poured in a career-high tying 32 points for the Huskies who shot 48 percent from the floor and Josip Vrankic posted a career-best 21 for Santa Clara, which made only 12 of 21 from the free-throw line.

This season, the Broncos feature a new-look roster.

Guard KJ Feagin, and forwards Henrik Jadersten and Josip Vrankic are the only returning rotational players. Feagin, a three-year starter, is a two-time All-West Coast Conference selection who averaged 17.5 points per game (fifth in the league) and 4.0 assists pg (ninth in the league) in 2017-18. Jadersten has appeared in 84 career games and Vrankic was one of the more productive freshmen in the WCC during 2017-18, ranking third on the team in both scoring (10.4 ppg) and rebounding (4.6 pg).

Sophomore guard Tahj Eaddy is eligible this season after sitting out 2017-18. He transferred from Southeast Missouri last summer.

There are eight additions to the 2018-19 squad, including five true freshmen in Guglielmo Caruso (Naples, Italy), Juan Ducasse (Montevideo, Uruguay), Keshawn Justice (Madison, Wisconsin), Zeke Richards (Oak Park, California) and Trey Wertz (Charlotte, North Carolina). Fallou Ndoye, DJ Mitchell and Josh Martin are transfers. Ndoye (CSU Bakersfield) and Martin (Cal Poly) are graduate transfers with immediate eligibility. Mitchell played the last two seasons at Wake Forest and will sit out 2018-19.

YEAR THREE UNDER SENDEK
The Broncos are in their 112th year of existence, including third under Herb Sendek, who has been successful in each of his three previous head-coaching stops. With a resume that includes 18 postseason appearances and three conference coach of the year awards, Sendek, was one of the three youngest coaches with 400 or more career victories. He is in his 25th season as a collegiate head coach with stops at Arizona State, North Carolina State and Miami (Ohio).

QUICK HITS
• KJ Feagin injured his left hand during Thursday's game against UC Irvine. Further evaluation revealed a broken bone and he is out of action indefinitely.
• Keshawn Justice is the team's leading scorer (13.7 ppg) and is shooting at a 53.6-percent clip from floor. He also is averaging a team-high 2.0 steals per game. Tahj Eaddy is second in scoring (12.7 ppg) and Josh Martin, who spent 2014-15 at Minnesota, is the leading rebounder at 7.0 per contest.
• Justice and Eaddy are the only players to reach double figures in all three games.
• The Broncos have struggled shooting from the field and free-throw line, but did connect on a season-best 45 percent from the floor against Washington on Sunday.
• Eight of the 10 Santa Clara players who saw action against Prairie View A&M (Nov. 9) appeared for the first time as Broncos. Justice, in his first-career game, was the leading scorer, posting 15 points in just 17 minutes of action. Martin posted his ninth career double-double, registering 11 points and 13 rebounds against the Panthers. He had a career-best five last season at Cal Poly.

THE MINNESOTA SERIES...
• The Gophers have a 3-0 series lead and the teams will be meet at a neutral site for the first time.

RADIO/LIVE STREAM
Anthony Passarelli (play-by-play) and John Stege (analyst) will call the action during the season on radio and through TheW.tv at home. All Broncos home games and West Coast Conference contests (not on an ESPN platform or BYUtv) will also be streamed through TheW.tv (local blackout restrictions apply for games broadcast over the air).
