SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball and San Francisco will meet twice in a 14-day span, beginning with Saturday's matchup.

Josip Vrankic posted a career-high 26 points, including 16 in the second half, and Guglielmo Caruso scored a career-best 18 for the Broncos who shot 53 percent and had just three turnovers in the second half.

Santa Clara is 4-4 on the road this season and San Francisco 11-1 at home, with the lone loss coming at the hands of No. 4/4 Gonzaga on Jan. 12.

The Broncos have won two in a row on the road after three straight losses. The Dons (17-6, 5-4) have lost their last three games.

YEAR THREE UNDER SENDEK...
The Broncos are in their 112th year of existence, including third under Herb Sendek, who has been successful in each of his three previous head-coaching stops. THE SAN FRANCISCO SERIES...
The series began in 1908 and the Broncos hold a 115-108 lead. The 223 meetings are the second-most of any Santa Clara opponent (226 vs. Saint Mary's). The Broncos have won three of the last five.
