SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Marie Bertholdt of Santa Clara women's basketball was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week and College Sports Madness West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday. Bertholdt had a big weekend to help keep the Broncos in position for the No. 2 seed in the WCC tournament.

Bertholdt averaged 19.5 ppg on 52.2 percent shooting from the floor and 75.0 percent from beyond the arc. She also shot 92.3 percent from the free throw line. She added 11.5 rpg, 4.0 apg, and 2.0 spg.

Against LMU Bertholdt scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds to go with an assist and a steal.

She had a career day vs. Pepperdine. She scored a career-best 27 points and had a career high with 15 boards and seven assists while also picking up three steals.
