SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer has added Sofia Jones to the 2017 roster. Jones is from Los Altos Hills, Calif. and attended Saint Francis High School. She played club for MVLA (Mountain View/Los Altos).
Jones is a team captain during her senior season in 2017. She was named All-League second team as a sophomore and junior. Her team made the semifinals of CCS her sophomore year and the quarterfinals her junior year.
During her sophomore, junior, and senior years she was given the scholar-athlete award as well as being on the honor roll.
She plans to major in engineering and has an interest in physics and mathematics.
Off the field Jones enjoys skiing, playing with dogs, spending time with friends, going to the beach, and traveling. She is the younger sister of former Bronco Ali Jones.
