SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer has added Alexis Loera to the 2017 roster. Loera is from Thornton, Colo. and attended The Academy. She played club for Colorado Storm.
At the Academy Loera was named All-State in each of her first three seasons as well as All-Conference each year. She has been a team captain since her sophomore season and was named CHSCA All-State First Team as a sophomore.
Loera was the Colorado Storm Player of the Year in 2015. The team went 16-1-1 in her senior season and finished in first while making it to the semifinals. He holds the freshman record for most goals.
She has attended multiple U17 WNT camps and was the winner of Nickelodeon's Soccer Superstar season 2.
For her work in the classroom, Loera was also named Academic First Team All-State each of her four years of high school and earned a letter in academics as a junior and senior.
In her free time Loera enjoys hanging out with friends, going outdoors, and playing sports.
