SANTA CLARA, Calif. - It's bocce time again! The Santa Clara volleyball program has announced that the Seventh Annual Bronco Bocce Invitational will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos.
The event is open to all alumni, fans and supporters of SCU Volleyball, and in addition to the "pool play" bocce tournament, will also include door and raffle prizes, and silent and live auction items.
"The Bronco Bocce Invitational has been and continues to be one of our program's most successful and enjoyable fundraisers, and we're looking forward to another fun and memorable event this year," said volleyball head coach Jon Wallace. "We would also like to thank Campo di Bocce for graciously hosting this event once again with us."
The cost to sign up a team for the tournament is $1,500, while guests who wish to play but do not have a team may sign up for $250 and will be placed on a team. The cost for guests who do not wish to play but look forward to partaking in the food and festivities is $150. Teams will be allowed a maximum of six members, with four playing at a time. Each time is guaranteed three games.
Interested participants may click on the PDF link above and print out the sign-up form. Bronco Volleyball asks that you RSVP no later than May 10 and that checks are made payable to SCU Volleyball.
Anyone who cannot attend the event but still wishes to make a donation may print and fill out the donation card attached to the PDF at the top of this page.
