The Broncos went 2-1 last weekend at the Stanford Invitational. Santa Clara defeated UC Santa Barbara in four sets and then swept New Mexico State before falling to then-No. 7 Stanford in three sets. Brittany Lowe averaged a team-best 3.80 kills per set, while Anna Cmaylo compiled a 33.3 hitting percentage. Bronco Watch
Senior Lowe is the lone Broncos to register over 100 kills thus far. She averaged 3.71 per game, while having nine ace and 10 total blocks to her name. She leads the squad in solo blocks with five. Junior Davigeadono's hitting percentage of 36.4 is a team-best, while she averages 10.50 assists per set and has posted nine aces and 27 total blocks. Redshirt senior Cmaylo leads the pack with 29 total blocks and averaged 2.93 kills per set. Senior Taylor O'Brien has collected a team-best 93 digs, while freshman Libby Morrison leads the Broncos serving efforts with 11 aces.

200
With their victory over UCSB Thursday night, the Broncos handed head coach Jon Wallace his 200th career victory. Under his direction, the Broncos have compiled a 201-80 overall record and a 98-28 mark in West Coast Conference play. On Sept. 12, 2006 the Broncos defeated the San Jose State Spartans 3-2 to give Wallace his 163rd career win, putting him alone atop the wins list, surpassing the 162 career victories of Mary Ellen Murchison (1978-88). Now Wallace will look for WCC win No. 100 in October.

Closing In On 1,000
Senior outside hitter Lowe is the next member of the 2008 Bronco roster chasing after 1,000. Lowe is now 17 digs away from her career 1,000. Lowe reached her career 1,000 kills in 2007 after tallying a team-high 452.

All-Tournament Team Honors
Two Broncos earned all-tournament team honors last weekend at the Stanford Invitational. Setter Davigeadono and middle blocker Cmaylo both received the accolade. Davigeadono registered 10 kills, a 23.8 hitting percentage, 10.40 assists per game, 17 digs and 16 total blocks. Cmaylo averaged 2.5 kills and 1.5 digs per set, and posted 16 total blocks and two aces.

Broncos And The Record Books
Broncos have already begun moving around the record books this year. Outside hitter Lowe is now ninth in kills (1,216), seventh in attempts, (3,145) and eighth in aces (119). She is four aces away from tying the 2007 WCC Player of the Year Crystal Matich.

Cmaylo holds steady to her No. 2 all-time hitting percentage. She is just five solo blocks away from entering the career top-10 and is three block assists away from claiming the No. 3 all-time spot. Seventeen more total blocks and she'll claim the No. 3 spot in that category as well.

The Hornets enter the midweek match with a 2-8 overall record. Sac State is currently on a six-match drought. Junior Desiree Hoyum leads the Hornets averaging 2.31 kills per set, while sophomore Maddison Thirvierge has posted a team-high 29 total blocks (6 solo, 23 assists).
