WCC Golf Release March 23 (PDF)

SANTA CLARA, Calif. –
Santa Clara University's golf teams are less than one month away from the West Coast Conference Championships, to be held at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister, April 18-19. Taking advantage of the University's Spring Break, the Bronco men are playing in two tournaments this week, competing at the Barona Collegiate Cup, Thursday and Friday, March 24-25.

Led by sixth-year head coach Rob Miller, the Bronco men are currently No. 87 in the latest national rankings by GolfWeek. After a disappointing tournament in Eugene earlier this week, look for Santa Clara to rebound at the Barona Collegiate Cup today and tomorrow.

Miller has welcomed back All-West Coast Conference junior Cory Mehl, who is playing in his first event of the spring season. Mehl, Scott Travers and Rick Lamb have proven to be three of the best golfers in the league.
