SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University student-athletes Miki Ueoka and Rick Lamb are challenging for individual tournament titles in their respective events this week. Both Ueoka and Lamb are in second place after 36 holes, Ueoka at the Fresno State Lexus Classic and Lamb at the Del Walker Intercollegiate hosted by Long Beach State.

Ueoka, a senior from Lihue, Hawaii and Kauai High School, won the Fresno Classic two years ago. She is coming off back-to-back top 10 finishes in the first two events of the 2011 spring season. Lamb, the reigning West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year, is looking for his first-ever collegiate win. He has challenged for titles but has not yet won.
