Men’s Golf Schedule Announced

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's golf team once again boasts a schedule featuring some of the top tournaments in the nation.

The Broncos, slated for 11 events during 2017-18, will play four tournaments at a Pac-12 venue and four with West Coast Conference schools serving as the host.

Santa Clara opens the season on Oct. 1-3, at The Jackrabbit in Valentine, Nebraska, with South Dakota State as the host institution.

The three other fall events will take place in California. The Broncos compete in the Alister MacKenzie on Oct. 8-9, in Fairfax, California (Cal Bears are the host), the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Oct. 18-20 and the Saint Mary's Invitational on Nov. 6-8.

In the spring, Santa Clara will play twice at the University of Arizona, including the N.I.T. from Feb. 26-27, which annually has many of the top-ranked programs in the nation.

The Broncos open the spring with the Arizona Intercollegiate (Jan. 29-30), followed by the USD Intercollegiate (Feb. 12-13) in San Diego.

The final six weeks of the regular season has the Broncos twice on the road in Oregon and once in Southern California.

Gonzaga will hold the Bandon Dunes Championship (March 11-13) in Bandon Dunes, Oregon, and the University of Oregon will be the host school for the Duck Invitational in Eugene.

Dates and location for the three-day WCC Championships are to be determined.
