Women’s Tennis to hold Bronco Invitational This Weekend

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's tennis team will play its fourth and final fall tournament this weekend when it serves as host to the Bronco Invitational.

The three-day tournament begins Friday at the Degheri Tennis Center and features players from Stanford, Nevada, San Jose State and Academy of Art University. Start time is 9 a.m. each day and admission is free.

The Broncos will send five players into action: Madison Clarke, Chelby Cooke, Nabila Farah, Daniella Silva, and Elizabeth Stephens.

Farah won her singles draw at the Saint Mary's Invitational (Oct. 9-11) and two weeks ago, Clarke, a freshman, reached the round of 16 in singles at the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships.
