Three Women's Tennis Players Nab All-WCC Honors

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Three members of the Santa Clara women's tennis team were honored by the West Coast Conference on Wednesday.

Daniella Silva was named All-WCC Second Team Singles, Delphine Rouvillois was singles honorable mention, and Silva and Nabila Farah were named All-WCC Second Team Doubles.

Silva finished the season playing out of the No. 1 spot and was second on the team with 11 dual singles wins. Her most wins came out of the No. 3 spot where she was 6-3. This is the first honor for Silva.

Rouvillois struggled with injuries and finished the season 4-4 in singles. She was 3-0 in the No. 5 spot. Rouvillois was All-WCC honorable mention in 2014 and a second team honoree in singles last season.

Silva and Farah competed all year in the No. 1 doubles spot and finished second on the team with 10 dual wins. Last season Farah and Silva were All-WCC honorable mention in doubles last year as well.
