Cross Country Announces 2021 Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara cross country announced its 2021 schedule for the men's and women's teams on Wednesday. 

The Broncos, entering their 13th season under head coach Felipe Montoro, are scheduled for eight meets after being limited to two (WCC Championships, NCAA Championships) in spring 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Santa Clara begins the 2021 season on Sept. 4 at the USF Invitational in San Francisco and returns to The City on Sept. 10 for the San Francisco State Invitational. 

SCU heads to Falcon Heights, Minnesota for the Roy Griak Invitational Sept. 24, then returns to California for the University of the Pacific Invitational (Stockton, California) on Oct. 1. 

The men's team makes a trip to the NCAA Pre-National meet (Tallahassee, Florida) on Oct. 15 before Santa Clara hosts the Bronco Invitational the next day. 

Championship season begins with the WCC Championships on Oct. 29 in Concord, California. The NCAA West Regional Championships are on Nov. 12 in Sacramento, California and the NCAA National Championships will take place on Nov. 20 in Tallahassee.
