QUOTABLE

"This meet fits well with our schedule specifically to give some of our runners some more race experience. It's a quick turnaround to race six days after our opener, and we don't typically do that, but for this group racing we are just trying to give them more race repetitions and get more acquainted with college cross country. This group racing is primarily composed of college athletes or athletes who weren't competing last year because of opt outs or injury." -Associate head coach Pete Cushman
