SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara has released its 2022 track & field schedule featuring 14 events and beginning in January.

The first race will be the Cougar Class in Spokane, Wash. from January 14-16 followed by the WSU Invitational February 4-5, also in Spokane. The next week features the Portland Invitational on February 13 in Portland.

The Broncos then come back to California for the East Bay Opener in Hayward March 5. The squad will be split March 12, racing at the Oxy Distance Carnival in Los Angeles and the Aggie Opener in Davis. March 26 has the team off to the Cal Poly Invitational in San Luis Obispo.

The team will once again split, running at the Mike Fanelli Invitational in San Francisco and the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto March 31 through April 2. They come back together for the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa April 16 and close the month at the Fresno State Invitational April 30 in Clovis.

May features the final two races of the season. The Oxy Invitational is Los Angeles on the 7th and the APU Last Chance Qualifier the 13th and 14th in Azusa.

Last season was historic on the track & field side as Zach Litoff made program history and represented the Broncos in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He finished 20th overall.
