Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Adds a Pair of NLIs

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's cross country/track & field has signed two to National Letters of Intent. Kaylee Volner and Brianna McInnis will join the program as the class of 2026.

Kaylee Volner | 5-3 | Pukalani, Maui, Hawaii | Seabury Hall

Volner was a Maui Interscholastic League Track all-star in 2019 and was the Hawaii high School Athletic Association State Cross Country runner-up that same year. She was an all-star in 2018 and 2019 and the Maui Interscholastic League co-Runner of the Year in 2019. She was also given the Seabury Hall Super Spartan Award and Athlete of the Month multiple times.

In 2021, she was the Valley Isle Track Club Cross Country Champion and in 2020 was the Valley Isle Track Clube Mile Champion.

Academically she was on the Head of School List and inducted into the Seabury Hall chapter of the National Honor Society.

In her free time enjoys singing and getting involved in community-based health care.

Brianna McInnis | 5-7 | Mill Valley, Calif. | Tamalpais High School

McInnis broker her school's DMR record in track and field and is in the top-10 for the school's cross country home course. She finished sixth at the Crystal Springs Invite and was seventh at the Mariner Invite. Her time of 17:00 at the Lowell Invite was seventh in the varsity heat. She is also 8th in her school's 1600-meter record book.

In her free time she is a UCSF Junior Ambassador and enjoys, tutoring, cooking, and skiing.
