SANTA CLARA, Calif. - With the 2015 season fast approaching, the Santa Clara women's team has kicked off its spring schedule consisting of five tune-up games. The Broncos opened up play last Thursday with a match against Cal and will continue competition into early May.
With one match in the books, the Bronco squad will now play the California Storm, a semi-professional team from the Women's Premier Soccer League, on April 12 on the campus of nearby San Jose State University.
A week later, the Broncos will travel to the state capital to take on the Hornets from CSU Sacramento on April 19. Santa Clara will then play cross town rival San Jose State five days later on the Spartans' home field on April 24 to round out its spring season.
