SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Continuing her impressive run of success, Santa Clara women's tennis player Katie Le was named West Coast Conference Player of the Month for November Thursday. Le's month included playing into the second round at the ITA Indoor Championships.

"I'm really happy for Katie and her selection to the Indoor Championships," said Bronco head coach Ben Cabell. "It was a big deal not only for her development but for our program as well. We continue to be impressed with everything Katie does and has accomplished."

Le knocked, ranked No. 41 in the country, knocked off Zoe Dubrucker of North Carolina, who was ranked No. 26 at the time, in the first round of the ITA Indoor Championships before falling to No. 35 Hannah Mar of Duke in the second round. This was the first time a Santa Clara women's tennis player received a bid to the ITA Indoor Championships.

Last year Le was the first Bronco to receive an invitation to the NCAA Tournament as a singles player and was the WCC Player of the Year. In 2010-11 she was WCC Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-WCC. During her first two years on the Mission campus, Le has amassed 41 total wins.
