AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016-17: FALL: Went 4-6 in singles play and 5-5 in doubles action ... won two singles matches at the Bronco Invitational ... earned victories in three matches with Zeina El Tawil to reach the final of the doubles "B" bracket at the Saint Mary's Invitational. SPRING: Frankel posted a 4-15 record overall, playing on court 4 for all but one match during dual play ... played the majority of the season with Caitlyn Frankel in doubles play on court two. The duo posted a record of 5-7 overall and 2-5 in conference matches.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, Frankel was a member of the tennis team for three years ... helped guide her team to three-straight district and regional titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015 ... the team won the 4A Texas State Championship in 2013, the 6A Texas State Championship in 2014 and advanced to the semifinals in 2015 ... earned the Cornerstone Athlete Award ... was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Caitlyn is the daughter of Jeffrey and Melissa Frankel ... she was born in Dallas and is the only athlete in her family ... enjoys skiing, hanging out with friends and watching hockey in her free time ... she aspires to be an entrepeneur and is currently studying in the Leavey School of Business.
