SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's tennis lost to St. Mary's on Saturday by a score of 4-2 at Degheri Tennis Center.

Santa Clara (6-8, 1-3 WCC) lost the doubles point to St. Mary's (8-6, 3-1 WCC). The Gaels won on courts two and three to claim the point. Senior Daniella Silva and sophomore Madison Clarke earned a 6-2 victory on court one. The duo has won seven straight doubles matches and owns a record of 9-2 in dual match play.

Senior Nabila Farah won 6-4, 6-1 on court three against Clementine Clement to tie the score at one. Clarke earned her fifth straight win with her 6-1, 6-3 victory over Jana McCord on court one. Clarke boasts a singles record of 11-1 in dual match play this season. The Broncos led 2-1 but the Gaels won on courts five, six and two to clinch the victory.

The Broncos head to Pepperdine on Friday for a match at 1:30 p.m. then play at Loyola Marymount on Saturday at 11 a.m.
