SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field looks to bolster its postseason résumé on Saturday in its final meet of the regular season. The Broncos head to Los Angeles for the Occidental Invitational at Bill Henry Track.

Santa Clara's men kept their streak of 2019 record-setting performances in tact on Thursday, May 2. Jack Davidson bested his own 5,000-meter program record with a 14:00.91 at the Payton Jordan Invitational (Cobb Track and Angell Field), marking the fifth straight week of competition that a Bronco has achieved a new program-best time.

Davidson's mark comes in at more than three seconds faster compared to his prior best – 14:04.47 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic on March 29.

Zach Litoff also raced in the Stanford-hosted event and clocked an 8:52.38 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

The Broncos capped another two-meet week on Friday, May 3 at the Portland Twilight (Lewis & Clark College). Sarah King led a group of for women's runners at 1,500 meters while Christian Raslowsky finished first among five Broncos at that distance and Ben Davidson topped a four-runner SCU unit at 5,000 meters.
