Head Coach Mark O'Brien:
On the team bouncing back from an early deficit:
"I was really pleased with the guys coming back from behind like they did, especially because they did it later in the game, which shows how much heart there is on this team. They kept their heads up, put the ball in play with two strikes and hit solid line drives, that's what you have to do."
On the defense turning a double play with runners on in the eighth to preserve the tie:
"That was huge for us, especially because they had some fast runners on base who have the ability to steal bases. Jeff [Lombard] did a great job of getting a ground ball in that situation and our middle infield did their job and turned a great double play."
On Jeff Lombard's solid efforts so far this season:
"Jeff has a lot of confidence right now and that's because he's doing everything he needs to do to be successful. His fastball is down and he is using his secondary pitches at will."
