SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's basketball has a pair of nonconference games this week.
The Broncos will play at Cal Poly on Wednesday (6 p.m.) and face Sacramento State on Saturday (2 p.m.) in Santa Cruz, California.
The matchup with the Mustangs (1-1) will be the first road contest of the season for the Broncos. Cal Poly lost at home to San Francisco, 88-60, on Friday.
Santa Clara (4-0) played its first three games in Leavey Center and Saturday's contest will be its second in Kaiser Permanente Arena. The Broncos defeated CSU Bakersfield, 53-47, on Wednesday.
Spectators are not be permitted in the facility, but the game will be streamed on The WCC Network and can be heard on TuneIn.
The Hornets (3-0) played fellow Big Sky Conference member Idaho twice last week. Sacramento State won 77-55 on Thursday and 73-57 on Saturday.
Santa Clara's remaining nonleague games will be announced as they are finalized, but the West Coast Conference schedule begins on Jan. 2 against Loyola Marymount.
