SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's basketball game against Sacramento State has been postponed after a member of the Hornets travel party was potentially exposed to COVID-19.
The schools hope to reschedule the contest that was set for Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California.
The Broncos (5-0) are coming off a 76-69 road triumph over Cal Poly on Wednesday.
Santa Clara will face Fresno Pacific on Tuesday in Santa Cruz with tipoff set for 6 p.m.
The Broncos' remaining nonleague games will be announced as they are finalized, but the West Coast Conference schedule begins on Jan. 2 against Loyola Marymount.
