SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer announced the second member of the 2023 recruiting class, Keagan Rhodes, a left back out of Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California.
"I've always been drawn to Santa Clara University and the school has a great environment for me to grow both on and off the field," said Rhodes.
During his junior season, Rhodes was named to the competitive All-West Catholic Athletic League team and was part of the Central Coast Section winning squads his freshman and sophomore years. He plays his club soccer for the De Anza Force.
Rhodes' father, Jeff, played soccer at the University of Notre Dame and his older brother Jake, currently plays soccer at UC Santa Cruz. His aunt, Nannette Rhodes played at Santa Clara from 1987-90.
"Keagan comes from a background filled with pedigree. His work rate and toughness will add to our culture," said Broncos head coach Cam Rast. "He is well versed in what the collegiate game will be like and his competitive no nonsense approach will fit well in our program."
Our next future Bronco, Will Wiersdorf, will be announced tomorrow.
