Meet the Future of Bronco Men’s Soccer – Will Wiersdorf

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer announced the third member of the 2023 recruiting class, Will Wiersdorf, a center attacking midfielder out of San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, California.

"I chose Santa Clara because I love the location, environment, and facilities for the student-athletes.  It will allow for student-athletes to reach their goals in both sports and academics," said Wiersdorf.

During his sophomore season, Wiersdorf was named Sophomore of the Year in the East Bay Athletic League that the Wolves compete in.  Currently, Wiersdorf is serving on a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"Will has been committed to Santa Clara for a couple of years and was an outstanding goal scoring midfielder coming out of high school," said Broncos head coach Cam Rast.  "Now that he is wrapping up his Mission, we very much look forward to having him as part of the team and look forward to the impact he will have as a Bronco."
