Head coach George Husack, on match: "Today was an outstanding victory for our team. Everyone contributed to the win including our faithful Bronco fans. It was nice to come out playing on all cylinders after yesterday's rainout at Stanford. BYU beat us up last year at their place and was coming off an impressive win over Stanford yesterday. Our guys really bore down today and performed very well en route to a great win."
Husack, on doubles: "The doubles point was once again very critical. It was nice to see Brian and Jay even up the score after BYU won the first match. They are a new pair (due to injury to Kevin McQuaid) that has learned how to play with each other in a relatively short amount of time."
Husack, on Shields and Gallman: "Blane and Robert were solid once again today. They are playing with a lot of confidence and are taking advantage of their opportunities. They broke BYU twice earlier in the set but were unable to hold serve. To come back and break once again when the team needed it most was very impressive."
Husack, on Jan Macek's play: "Jan played his heart out today. He's had a great year in terms of his ability to hold down the top spot in the lineup and face some really good players. I'm very proud of him and the impact that he has had to our program."
