Head coach George Husack, on match: "This was a great match for us today after an emotional rollercoaster against Stanford. The guys used their emotions from yesterday's result to compete unbelievably well today. They were resilient and tenacious."
Husack, on reserves stepping up: "I'm very happy and proud of Kenzo and Steven. Both guys were given the starting nod and they delivered. It's tough when you're not always in the lineup and have to keep working hard and improve during practice. The two of them, as well as Joe Galbraith, have done a great job of taking on the responsibility and seizing their opportunities."
Husack, on outcome: "The matches were obviously very close as one can see by the scoreboard. USF has a very talented team. I think our ability to compete was the difference as we were up against the ropes with guys out of the lineup. Everyone was ready to go and that was impressive."
Husack, looking ahead: "We will take the weekend off to recover and rest. We have three very important matches left on the schedule and glad that we'll finish up at home. I'm looking forward to seeing us complete the regular season in strong fashion."
