Senior Bobby Rasmussen, on doubles win: "The doubles point today was huge, especially since we only got a 4-3 win. Every match, the doubles point seems to determine who wins and loses and we were able to pull it out today. It was great for me to be back out there today, especially playing with Jan. I couldn't have played with another partner today. It was a tough match and it felt great to get the win."
Rasmussen, on winning last two matches of regular season: "Today was a tough test for us. These doubleheaders are always very difficult to play through. To finish up 19-6 is huge, but we were really tested today. For us it always comes down to competing and today we did that."
Rasmussen, looking ahead to WCCs: "In all the matches down there, the doubles point will be huge. There are a lot of good teams in the league and we have to fight every point and keep playing aggressively if we want to win."
Senior Jan Macek, on playing with Rasmussen: "It was great to be out there playing with Bobby. Playing with him made it a memorable Senior Day and we got a huge win so that made it even better. Finishing off the regular season at home playing with Bobby was just great."
Macek, on returning for one last season: "I decided to come back this year because I knew we had a strong team with a great group of guys. We have played well so far but we still have some work to do next weekend at the WCCs."
Junior Robert Gallman, on clinching win vs. Sacramento State: "I had a lot of support on my court and that really got me through the last couple of games of my match. I knew that Blane was going to win his match so I knew that I just needed to get through a couple of games and we would come out on top."
Gallman, on his win: "I breathed a big sigh of relief when I won. I am feeling healthy again and it feels great to be out playing. I have had a bit of an up and down season so it was nice to clinch the last match of the regular season at home."
Gallman, on doubles play with Blane Shields: "I enjoy playing with Blane and I think that we are meshing pretty well. We have put together a good record together and we want to keep it rolling into the tournament."
Junior Kevin McQuaid, on playing singles: "I haven't played a full singles match in seven months so I am a bit tired. I had a lot of fight out there, but I couldn't get the win in end. I am just ecstatic that the team won today."
McQuaid, on his leadership: "I want the guys to have a lot energy out here and be loud. I have been taught well for four years about what Bronco tennis is all about and I want to pass that on to the younger guys."
McQuaid, on recovering from knee surgery: "It is kind of a miracle that I am even playing right now. I was not supposed to be playing right now after my surgery. The doctors thought I might be out 4-5 months, but I was able to come back in 2-3 weeks. I can't wait for the WCCs."
