**UPDATED on April 2: Tuesday's match has been postponed to Thursday, April 4.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis (11-4, 2-2 WCC) will look to bounce back against Saint Mary's (3-13, 1-4 WCC) in a conference match after splitting the weekend league matches. Playing at home this past weekend, Santa Clara swept Portland, 4-0 before losing to Gonzaga, 4-3 and had its win streak snapped at seven matches.
"The two freshmen (Arthur Neuhaus and Santiago Hinojosa) did a great job winning their singles matches early, coming in a high pressure situation against Gonzaga. But the top of the lineup just didn't have their best stuff and if you do that against a good team, you get beat," said Broncos head coach Niall Angus. "So we just need to get back to work, lick our wounds and prepare for Saint Mary's."
All three of Saint Mary's wins this season have come at home where they are 3-1. The Gaels will enter the match on a three-game losing skid, dropping the weekend matches at LMU, 4-0 and at Pepperdine, 4-1.
