SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's tennis looked carry the momentum from Saturday's 4-3 thrilling win over UNLV into Sunday's match against UC Irvine but fell short, losing 4-1 to the Anteaters at the Degheri Tennis Center. 

After splitting the first two doubles matches, the doubles point came down to court one where Emmanuel Coste and Noah Zamora edged Guillaume Dalmasso and Arthur Neuhaus 7-6 (8-6) to clinch the doubles point.  

Mann Shah evened the team score at 1-all winning the first singles match of the day, defeating Lawee Sherif 6-1, 6-1.  However, the Anteaters (4-4) reeled off three-straight singles wins at courts four, six and the clincher at two where Riccardo Roberto handed Guillaume Dalmasso his first loss of the spring, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
