NOTES
- In a rescheduled match, Santa Clara travels to San Francisco to face the Dons on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the California Tennis Club.
- The match was originally scheduled for April 16 but it was postponed due to non-COVID related reasons within the Broncos program.
- The Broncos closed out the home schedule with a 4-0 loss to Cal Poly on April 13.
- SCU finished the year 7-3 at home. They are 0-6 in true road contests and 1-1 in neutral site matches.
- The remaining three matches are all on the road against West Coast Conference opponents.
- On March 29 Guillaume Dalmasso was named WCC Singles Player of the Week after he moved atop the singles lineup and posted a 2-0 record with wins over SMC's James Watt and Pacific's Aleska Mardjonovic. His match against Yale's Michael Sun went unfinished, the first unfinished match he has had all season.
- Dalmasso tops the team with 23 singles wins this season and a 11-4 dual match record. He has won 15 of his last 19 matches.
- Dalmasso and Arthur Neuhaus each have three conference wins in singles.
- Mann Shah and James Bell leads with 10 doubles victories on the year with eight wins coming during the spring.
- Shah won two titles during the fall, the top-flight singles title at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational and the ITA Super Regionals consolation bracket singles title.
- Dalmasso was the singles runner-up at the ITA Northwest Regional Championship's main draw while junior Ryan Ali was the runner-up in the consolation bracket.
- Dalmasso tops the team with 12 singles wins while Shah and Neuhaus have nine each.
- Shah and Bell led the fall with three doubles wins each.
- Santa Clara returns seven players (Ryan Ali, Nick Cmager, Guillaume Dalmasso, Santiago Hinojosa, Arthur Neuhaus, Matthew Rodriguez and Mann Shah) from last season when it finished 8-7, 4-4 WCC, including victories in five of the last six matches in an abbreviated campaign composed of only the spring season. The Broncos added one newcomer, James Bell, who transferred from Louisville.
- The Broncos finished No. 5 in the Spring 2021 Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association regional team rankings. Shah finished top-20 in singles with Arthur Neuhaus ranked No. 5 in doubles.
- Last spring, Neuhaus was named All-WCC Second Team Doubles where he tied for the team lead (alongside Dominic Barretto) with six doubles victories and led the team with nine singles wins.
- Shah earned his first conference honor when he finished the spring 7-8 including 3-7 at No. 1 and 4-1 at No. 2. The sophomore from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India won three of his last four matches.
- Head coach Niall Angus is in his sixth year as the head coach. Entering the 2021-22 season, Angus owned a 58-41 career record and coached eight all-conference singles, seven all-conference doubles and nine conference all-academic honorees.
