Santa Clara Schedule

SAN BRUNO, Calif.
– The West Coast Conference office announced the 2018-19 women's basketball conference schedule Tuesday.

As in the past, Santa Clara will play home-and-home series with each of the other nine teams in the league, beginning with a home series against BYU (Dec. 29) and San Diego (Dec. 31).

A three-game road swing follows featuring a local game at San Francisco (Jan. 5) and a trip to Southern California.

Pacific (Jan. 17) and Saint Mary's (Jan. 19) are followed by road games in the Pacific Northwest before a three-game homestand featuring the Dons (Feb. 2), LMU (Feb. 7), and Pepperdine (Feb. 9).

After a trip to Saint Mary's (Feb. 14) and Pacific (Feb. 16), Senior Day will be Feb. 23 against Portland with the regular season coming to a close at BYU March 2.

The WCC Tournament will once again be in Las Vegas at the Orleans arena, beginning March 7.

Santa Clara welcomes three newcomers to its roster in Lindsey VanAllen, Lexie Pritchard, and Tia Hay as well as transfers Lauren Yearwood, Erica Meyer, and Joeseta Fatuesi who had to sit out 2017-18 due to NCAA transfer rules. Also back is 2017 All-WCC pick Emily Wolph who missed all but one game last year with an injury.

The nonconference schedule will be released later this summer.
