SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara beach volleyball released its 2022 schedule on Wednesday. It includes two home duals at the Santa Clara Beach Volleyball Courts and at least six contests against West Coast Conference opponents in the regular season.
FEBRUARY
The Broncos begins the season with four duals over two days, Feb. 25-26, taking on Ottawa (Arizona), Utah, Concordia University Irvine and host San José State.
MARCH
SCU heads to Tucson, Arizona during the first weekend of March (March 4-5) to face host, Arizona, and Arizona State in the first day, followed by College of Mesa and Boise State on the second day. Following a tri-dual slate in Santa Cruz on March 12, the Broncos head down to San Luis Obispo, California featuring five schools - Boise State, Pepperdine, Southern Miss, Houston Baptist and Cal - over the course of two days (March 20-21). Santa Clara closes out the month at the West Coast Conference Invitational in Santa Cruz (March 25-26).
APRIL
The Broncos play a pair of teams on the road at Stanford and Sacramento State on April 2nd and 8th. That is followed by a home conference matches on April 12 against Saint Mary's and a April 15 contest against Pacific. SCU face the Gaels again on April 19, this time up in Moraga. The regular season finale on April 23 is at Davis, California, facing WCC foe San Francisco and host UC Davis. The West Coast Conference Championship is slated for April 29-30 in Los Angeles.
