NOTES
- Santa Clara play five matches, two on Sunday and three on Monday, at San Luis Obispo, California this weekend in a tournament hosted by Cal Poly.
- The Broncos are coming off three exhibition matches sweeping each match, 5-0, against West Valley, Cabrillo and Feather River.
- Alexia Inman and Nicole Robison have the best record as a pair going 4-0 including 3-0 at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2.
- Individualy, Inman and Michelle Shaffer tops the team with 7-1 records, respectively.
- The Broncos are led by Associate Head Coach Jeff Alzina who is in his third season with the program.
- Last season, the Broncos finished 5-7 including 3-5 in West Coast Conference action.
- The squad is comprised of 14 players with eight returners and six first-year players.
- Returners include: Alexia Gallegos, Julia Sangiacomo, Michelle Shaffer, Jordan Bennett, Kat Georgiadis, Natalie Rentsch, Elena Radeff and Claire Doud.
- First-year players include: freshmen Nicole Robison and Alexie Epstein; redshirt freshmen Casey Campbell, Elyse Erickson and Sophia Tulino and graduate student Alexia Inman who transferred from Cal.
