DAVIS, Calif. – Santa Clara volleyball concluded its regular season with a split against San Francisco and UC Davis. The Broncos won their first match 4-1 over San Francisco but lost the finale to UC Davis 4-1.

Match 1: Santa Clara 4 – San Francisco 1

The Broncos opened the day with a 4-1 win over San Francisco (3-16, 2-7 WCC). Santa Clara won each of the first four tandems before the Dons were able to win at the No. 5 spot.

Michelle Shaffer and Julia Sangiacomo won a tight one at the No. 1 spot 21-19, 22-20 with the No. 2 and tandem of Elena Radeff and Alexie Epstein and No. 3 tandem of Casey Campbell and Alexia Inman both winning more easily, 21-11, 21-10. The other Bronco win was Sophia Tulino and Claire Doud winning 21-19, 21-9.

Match 2: UC Davis 4 – Santa Clara 1

UC Davis (11-14) came out on top of the Broncos 4-1 in the regular season finale. Santa Clara's lone point came from No. 1 tandem Shaffer and Sangiacomo who won 19-21, 21-17, 15-13 over Colleen McGuire and Chelsea Maeglin.

The Aggies won each of the other three sets in two games to close things out.

The Broncos finished the regular season at 10-17 and 4-4 in WCC play.
