Santa Clara Men's Water Polo Loses to LMU

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's water polo (16-15; 3-5 WWPA) fell on Saturday at Loyola Marymount by a score of 11-2. It was a tough day for the Broncos' who were unable to get on the board until the second half.

The Santa Clara goals were scored by Marcus Akerland and Matt Kochalko. Goalkeeper Michael Wishart had a very good first quarter, recording five blocks. He registered three more saves on the day to end with a total of eight.

The Broncos wrap-up their WWPA weekend road trip on Sun., Nov. 6 at Noon at Chapman. The game will wrap-up regular season WWPA play for Santa Clara who has two weeks before WWPA's begin on Thu., Nov. 17 in San Diego.
