Santa Clara, Calif - Coming off a solid performance at the St. Mary's Invitational, the Bronco's Women's Tennis team prepares to play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association West Regional tournament held at Stanford this weekend Oct. 22-24th.
Head Coach Ben Cabell said of the competition, "The team and I are looking forward to the tournament this weekend at Stanford. Some of the best players in the country are there so it's a great opportunity for us to show what we can do. After two tournaments this fall I feel like we are well prepared and going to have a great weekend."
Kelly Lamble, a sophomore who won the Consolation Championship at the SMC Invitational two weeks ago, recently said of the team's chemistry, "We all get along really well, and the team dynamics that contributed significantly to our success last year will again this year. Our biggest goal for the year is to be a consistently nationally ranked team."
After ITA's the Broncos will take five weeks off to rest and prepare for the upcoming Cal Poly Hidden Dual Tournament and the ensuing fast paced WCC regular season.
