Dick Davey, on game: "I am proud of the team because I think that they played hard and shot the ball reasonably well. It was a great environment for college basketball tonight and I am glad that we got the win."
Davey, on pre-game standing ovation: "It was a little embarrassing. I thought it might be a standing boo. Actually, it was very nice what they did and I surely appreciated it."
Davey, on defending the post: "I thought we did a pretty good job defending them. Our guys held their ground well and we did a decent job of stopping their inside guys."
Scott Dougherty, on game: "It was nice to come up and beat a good team on the road. They are our biggest rival and we were lucky enough to beat them twice this year so that definitely feels good."
Dougherty, on importance of the win: "This was a good win tonight because it puts a little bit of distance between us and Saint Mary's. It is difficult to come up here and win and they are a very good team. Now we have to go out and continue what we did tonight against San Francisco on Monday."
Dougherty, on career high: "I made a few shots at the beginning and I started to feel confident with my shot, so I shot a little more than I normally would. I think that I took a couple of bad shots, but overall I just scored in the flow of the game."
