Dick Davey, on game: "We did well in the second half just like we did on Saturday against Pacific. We were playing against a good team tonight and it was a real struggle in the first half. But in the second half, we started making some shots and we started to rebound a bit more and we just ground it out."
Davey, on inside game: "Getting the ball inside is really our bread and butter. We have some guys who can score around the basket and I was happy with the way we got the ball inside tonight. John (Bryant) and Sean (Denison) both did some good things in there for us."
Davey, looking ahead to Stanford: "We are going to have our hands full up there. They are a nice, young team and we are going to be on the road so it will be difficult. Also, Stanford has some good size inside. We are going to have to do a good job in there."
Davey, on winning five out of last six: "We are making some good progress. I am not sure what turned it around for us, but we have played two strong games in a row. I think that Missouri State was a bit of an eye-opener for us. We saw how hard they play and how well they execute and we have started to play like that so that is encouraging."
Danny Pariseau, on facing former team: "It was nice to go out and get a win against them. They have a lot of new guys on that team, but I still know the coaches and some of the guys. It was fun out there tonight."
Pariseau, on getting teammates involved: "I didn't have a lot of opportunities to score tonight, so I just tried to get some open shots for my teammates. Winning is the most important thing so whether I score or not doesn't matter."
John Bryant, on career-high 20 points: "The shots were falling for me so I just kept on taking them. My teammates were getting the ball to me in good places and I was able to finish. I was in a good rhythm."
Bryant, on team's current play: "We are feeling really good right now and we have been able to finish games off. Last year, we would start off well in the first half but then fall off in the second half. We have turned that around this year."
