SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Following the completion of the WCC Championships in Lompoc, Calif., the West Coast Conference announced their post-season award recipients, which included four Broncos. On the men's side, Jong Yoon earned a spot on the 2007 All-Conference team following an eighth place finish, while Jamie Nonaka, Hilaire Fouts and Samantha Trask all received Honorable Mention honors.

Yoon, a co-captain of the men's team, played in 11 of the team's 12 events in 2006-07, leading the Broncos in all but two of his events. Behind his season-best eighth place finish at the WCC Championships, other season highlights include an 11th place finish (tied) at the Santa Clara Invitational at Silver Creek Country Club in October 2006, shooting a final round 68 at the Del Walker Intercollegiate - the best final round across the entire field - in the first tournament of the season, and shooting a season-best round of 67 in the first round of the UH Hilo Intercollegiate.

On the women's side, Nonaka was the Broncos top finisher, tied for 10th place, while Fouts and Trask were right behind in 13th and 14th places. Nonaka capped an impressive freshman season, participating in seven of their nine competitions including her victory at the Santa Clara Triangular where she shot 77.

Fouts only played in four competitions this season, but sure got hot at the right time. She shot a season-best round of 73 in the final round of the Peg Barnard California Collegiate last week, and then led the Broncos with a first round 77 at the WCC Championships, enroute to her 13th place finish.

For Trask, Tuesday's final round marked the culmination of an illustrious career at Santa Clara. In 2006-07, Trask represented the Broncos in every competition, including three top-10 finishes. At the Shaughnessy Invitational in October 2006, Trask shot a daily best round of 74 enroute to her fourth place finish (tied), and shot a season-best 71 in front of a gallery of screaming friends and family in the final round of the Peg Barnard California Collegiate last week.
