Women's Golf Travels North for Sacramento State Invitational

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's golf team continues spring play at the Sacramento State Invitational on Mar. 23-24 at the Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove. Shotgun starts begin at 10 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., respectively.

The Valley Hi Country Club is laid out over 6,100 yards and holds a par of 72. The Broncos will compete against CSU Bakersfield, CSU Northridge, CSU San Marcos, Montana State, North Dakota State, UC Davis and host-Sacramento State. It will be a 36-hole tournament over the course of two days.

The Broncos hope to build upon their tied for ninth place finish at the Fresno State Invitational in Fresno. Santa Clara is paced by sophomore Miki Ueoka. She is coming off of her second individual collegiate title of the season at the Fresno State Classic and was also named the West Coast Conference's Player of the Month in February.
